(1) List the available resolution and refesh rate:
$ xrandr
1229×741 60.0
2560×1600 60.0
1920×1440 60.0
1280×800 59.8*+
..
(2) Choose the resolution and refesh rate:
$ xrandr -s 1920×1440 -r 60.0
